We only collect personal information when you send us an enquiry through this website. Your enquiries
When you send an enquiry, we receive your name, company, email address, phone number (if you give it), the details of what you need (such as the type of part, whether you own the tool, the quantities and where your tools are now), how you heard about us, and any drawings or files you attach. With it, we record the page you sent it from, the page on which your visit started, the address of the website that sent you to us (the referrer URL) and, if you came to us from one of our adverts or a tagged link, the Google ad click ID (gclid) and the campaign tags in the link: utm_source, utm_medium, utm_campaign, utm_term and utm_content.
We use this information to answer your enquiry, to prepare quotations, and to understand which of our marketing brings us enquiries. We do not sell it or give it to other organisations for their own marketing. The companies that host this website and deliver our email process it for us, under our instructions.
To stop automated spam, our enquiry forms use Cloudflare Turnstile, a security check that does not use advertising cookies.

Google Maps
The map beside our enquiry forms is provided by Google Maps, which can set its own cookies. It only loads after you choose to show it, with "Show map" on the map or "Accept" in the cookie banner. You can turn it off again with the "Cookie settings" link at the foot of every page.
LinkedIn posts
Our News page shows our latest LinkedIn posts with SociableKit, a social media feed service. It does not set cookies, but it keeps a random visitor ID in your browser's session storage, which is deleted when you close the tab, and tells SociableKit each time the feed is viewed, with the address of the page. Loading the feed also connects your browser to SociableKit and to the font and code services it uses (Google Fonts, Cloudflare cdnjs and BootstrapCDN), which receive your IP address. The feed only loads after you choose "Accept" in the cookie banner. Links in the posts take you to LinkedIn, which has its own privacy policy.
