INPRESS MACHINE TENDER

We’re opening a tender process for the application to quote for the following list of equipment DDP to our site, Inpress Plastics Ltd, 1 Harwood Industrial Estate, Littlehampton West Sussex, BN17 7AU.

The list of machines we invite suppliers to tender for is as follows:

1x 500+T injection moulding machine or similar to run a tool of the following specification

​1x 500+T injection moulding machine or similar to run a tool of the following specification

​1x 500T injection moulding machine or similar to run a tool of the following specification

1x 200-350T injection moulding machine or similar to run a tool of the following specification

The specification of the equipment must meet the minimum requirement detailed above. The quotation for these machines will be assessed against the business requirement criteria laid out below. Interested parties should email their quotations for the supply of this equipment and provide their answers to the following list of selection criteria:

1. Timescales - What is the lead-time for delivery of the machines?  (If machines are not to be delivered together, please clarify any impact on delivery and commissioning costs).
2. Engineering support level in the UK. What is the number of engineers currently employed in the UK?  What is the standard response time for service requests? 
3. Suitability of machines; is your proposal for standard machines or are modifications required?
4. Adherence to UK Health & Safety standards for machinery
5. Total Cost.  Please provide total cost and separate details of the cost for each machine, plus commissioning and delivery costs]
6. Risks to supply.  Please detail any potential risks to supply and how you would mitigate the risk, for example if machines are being delivered from outside the UK.

Please note that award of this project is dependent on the receipt of grant funding and this tender process will follow the National Guidance set out in the ESIF National Procurement Requirements (ESIF-GN-1-001).

Closing date for completed tender applications: 20/03/2022
Successful supplier notified: 21/03/2022 (purchase order will follow confirmation of grant funding)
