We offer a complete range of services across the product development and manufacturing cycle. Inpress combines the expertise of our team of highly trained designers and engineers with quality manufacturing services.

Our product design team includes mechanical and electronic engineers and we offer a rapid prototyping service. Our client service team provides support though each stage of the product development process.We can tailor a section of our services to support your specific requirements or they are available individually.

Clients with a new product idea often want to get a design and prototype produced as soon as possible. A prototype can demonstrate the appearance, dimensions and features of the product. It is made in the same (or very similar) material as the finished item and can be used as a model to show to potential customers and for pre-marketing.
WHAT HAPPENS WHEN I MAKE AN ENQUIRY?
Step 1: A member of our client service team will deal with your initial enquiry and will talk to you to gather all the necessary information about your project. Your enquiry will be handled according to whether it is a design, prototype, manufacturing or design to manufacture project.
Step 2: Design projects will be assigned a design engineer, who will carry out a review and ask additional questions. As part of the quoting process, the engineer may make suggestions on the best method of manufacture, cost efficiency and potential improvements to the product. Manufacturing projects are handed to the Production team, who will liaise with our factory to prepare the quote.
Step 3:  The client service team are always available to answer questions you may have.
HOW CAN I PROTECT MY IDEA WITH INPRESS PLASTICS?
Establishing the capacity to protect a new idea is fundamental to its long term success. Inpress realises that a primary concern for all our clients is protecting their ideas and intellectual property rights (IPR). We provide our clients with guidance and advice on how to establish which intellectual property rights already exist in their product area. Inpress has a confidentiality agreement that protects its clients and we will also be happy to review agreements drafted by our clients.
HOW CAN I PROTECT MY IDEA IN THE FUTURE?
Please ask us for more information in this area when completing your product design enquiry form. In general you are protected by copyright, but you can also register your design. If your idea is an innovative solution to a real-world problem you may be able to register for a patent.

We always request the opportunity to quote for the manufacturing part of your project, as IPLD offers a fully managed production service - so our clients benefit from high quality, local manufacturing.
WHAT DESIGN PACKAGE DO YOU USE IN HOUSE?
We use Solidworks. This sophisticated design package allows us to design individual components, assemble them into integrated products and carry out a variety of functions including Finite Element Analysis.
HOW LONG WILL MY DESIGN PROJECT TAKE?
Development time is dependent on your product's complexity. We can provide you with timescales as part of the quoting process. Please contact us for more information and to discuss your project.
HOW MUCH WILL IT COST TO DEVELOP MY PRODUCT?

WHERE ARE YOUR FACTORIES LOCATED?
Our factory is located on the South Coast of England. We also work with partner factories if your product requires different capabilities from those we have in-house.
